Manager
Managers may have progressed from the Senior Consultant level at CAST or may come from financial service providers or other consulting firms. Managers have deep industry experience, typically 6 years or more. These professionals have demonstrated advanced analytic skills and have sound communication skills. They have also the proven ability to successfully manage project teams. Managers have also demonstrated the ability to both work and communicate effectively with clients.
Typical Roles:
Managers play a significant role in planning and executing key project management activities, including coordination of data collection and management. A majority of manager time is spent conducting analyses and developing and implementing recommendations. Managers frequently work directly with Vice Presidents and/or Executive Vice Presidents in designing and executing new and innovative analytical approaches. Managers typically interact with client personnel on a daily basis and work with Executive Vice Presidents on client relationship management.
Practice development is a major part of your role as a Manager. You will be leading research and development efforts and supporting teams of Executive Vice Presidents and Vice President in designing and developing new firm-wide consulting capabilities. You are an effective mentor and team leader.
Success:
Success at this level is determined by your depth of knowledge and proven reliability in delivering quality results from both a CAST and client perspective. You have the ability to be involved in multiple initiatives and are supporting sales efforts. You are a “go to” expert in some functional and/or industry area. Progression beyond this level is performance based and not necessarily tied to “time in position.”
