New hires at CAST are placed in a role commensurate with their background. Our flat organizational structure allows consultants at all experience and skill levels to work closely with one another, learning from their colleagues’ expertise. Current CAST Managers, Vice Presidents and Executive Vice Presidents represent a combination of experienced hires, as well as campus recruits who have advanced through the Associate Consultant, Consultant and Senior Consultant levels – evidence of our strong training programs and commitment to promotion based on performance. Indeed, career advancement at CAST is not determined by “time in role,” but rather proven execution, commitment to the firm, and a strong dedication to delivering the highest quality consulting services to our clients. Participate in intense training in analytical tools and techniques, including a two-week "Boot Camp"

Travel to client site to gain exposure interacting with clients and contributing to project team goals

Typically promoted from Associate Consultant

Leverage proven analytical ability to support large-scale projects

Continue interaction with clients, taking a more independent role in interviews, observations, and problem-solving

Broaden consulting and industry knowledge

Promoted from consultant (1-2 years) or proven professional with 5 or more years industry experience

Advanced analysis and problem solving

Deep financial service industry or consulting experience

Effective in client interaction

Manage portions of large projects
