CAST Principals  | Greg Ball Mr. Ball is an Executive Vice President of CAST with more than 25 years of experience working in and consulting with the financial services industry. His areas of focus include business process reengineering, business consolidations and integrations, cost management, and profitability improvement. Prior to joining CAST, Mr. Ball was a Senior Manager at IBM Global Services, a Senior Vice President at Bank of America, Vice President at Electronic Payment Services, and Vice President of Finance at American Express.
Mr. Ball received a Masters of Business Administration, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, summa cum laude, from Wake Forest University. Mr. Ball is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor, and a Six Sigma Black Belt. |
 | George Braunegg Mr. Braunegg is a founding principal, Executive Vice President, and Secretary of the Board of Directors of CAST. Mr. Braunegg has over 25 years of experience consulting to major financial services companies and has established himself as a leading expert in the areas Distribution Strategy, Organizational Design and Revenue Enhancement. During his career he has had the good fortune to have led consulting assignments at some of the most successful companies in the country and is privileged to be considered a trusted advisor to some of the most senior executives in the financial services industry. Mr. Braunegg is a frequent speaker to industry groups on his areas of expertise. Most recently he has focused his attention on the attributes of successful Broker Dealers of the future. Mr. Braunegg received a Master of Business Administration degree in management advisory services and accounting from the University of Southern California, and has a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Braunegg is a Certified Cash Manager and a Certified Public Accountant in California and Pennsylvania. |
 | Thomas Collins Mr. Collins has 22 years experience working in and consulting to the Banking and Financial Services industries. His areas of focus include Commercial Banking & Commercial Lending Organizational Effectiveness, Commercial & Retail Banking Operations, Consumer Lending & Collections, Distribution Channel Management & Optimization, Call Center Implementation, Management & Optimization and Branch Staffing & Operations. Prior to joining CAST, Mr. Collins was Executive Vice President - Corporate Development and Consumer Lending with Dollar Financial Group an international diversified financial services company. Additionally, he held the position of Senior Vice President - Retail Banking at Ocwen Financial Corporation where he managed their Retail Banking Business. Prior to that, he was a Senior Consultant with the management consulting firm LoBue Associates where he consulted to multi-national financial institutions in their International Division. Mr. Collins received a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. |  | David Felberg Mr. Felberg is an Executive Vice President and principal of CAST with more than 24 years of experience consulting to financial institutions. His areas of focus include Cash Management, Fee Revenue, Bank Operations, and Mortgage Banking. Prior to joining CAST, Mr. Felberg held positions as an Operations Manager at Crocker National Bank and as a Senior Consultant in KPMG Peat Marwick's Financial Institutions Consulting Practice. He has also held corporate banking positions at First Interstate Bank.
Mr. Felberg received a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in economics from Occidental College. Mr. Felberg is a Certified Cash Manager. |
 | Robert Hsia Mr. Hsia is a principal of CAST with over 19 years of experience consulting to financial institutions. His primary areas of focus are Technology Strategy, Vendor/Systems Evaluation, IT Project Management, Deposit Systems, Loan Origination, Banking Operations, and Bank Compliance. Mr. Hsia is the Director of CAST's Information Technology Division. Prior to joining CAST, Mr. Hsia spent over ten years with Accenture. He also held positions at Hewlett Packard and IBM.
Mr. Hsia received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor degree, cum laude, from Stanford University. |
 | Jack Leach Mr. Leach has more than 14 years of experience working in and consulting to the financial services industry. Prior to joining CAST he was a Vice President at Bank of America where he was a relationship manager in the bank's Commercial and Corporate Lending group. During his time with the bank, Mr. Leach's experiences included the start-up and management of a regional lending operations group as well as project leadership roles on numerous bank wide reengineering and process improvement projects. Additionally, Mr. Leach was a project manager for Carreker Corporation where he managed numerous Revenue Enhancement projects for both domestic and international banks.
Mr. Leach received his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in business administration degrees from East Carolina University. Mr. Leach is a Certified Cash Manager (CCM). | | Mary Maurer Ms. Maurer is an Executive Vice President of CAST and has over 25 years of experience working in and consulting to the Financial Services industry. Her primary areas of focus include Branch Sales and Service Management, Branch Operations, Sales Force Effectiveness, Change Management, Distribution Strategies and Process Efficiency. Prior to joining CAST Ms. Maurer spent more than 20 years with Wells Fargo Bank in such diverse areas as check operations, commercial lending, branch and ATM distribution strategies, staffing model management, financial management and managing sales, service and operational effectiveness projects for the ATM, branch and In Store channels.
Ms. Maurer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from San Jose State University and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. |

| Steve McCollum Mr. McCollum is the President and CEO of CAST with more than 25 years of experience consulting to financial institutions. His primary areas of focus include Retail/Commercial/Consumer Banking Operations, Insurance Operations, Sales Force Effectiveness and work force optimization. During his professional career, he was a commercial lender with Citicorp a s well as a Senior Manager with the management consulting firm of Theodore Barry and Associates, specializing in corporate and business unit strategy. Prior to that, Mr. McCollum was a Senior Consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick in their Financial Institutions Consulting Practice.
Mr. McCollum received a Master of Business Administration degree (with honors) with an emphasis in finance and accounting from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. McCollum is a Certified Public Accountant in California and has FLMI, CLU and ACS licenses. |
 | Kathryn A. Somers Ms. Somers is an Executive Vice President of CAST, specializing in organizational design and effectiveness. With over 20 years of operations and consulting experience, she has been exclusively focused on the financial services industry for the last 18 years. Her areas of focus include business process reengineering, organizational design, staff modeling, cost reduction and management, and revenue enhancement. Prior to joining CAST, she was an independent management consultant to a wide range of industries. Previously, she held a number of positions with Procter & Gamble, most recently managing their West Coast Distribution Center.
Ms. Somers received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. |
 | Glenn Teshirogi Mr. Teshirogi is a founding principal and Chairman of CAST and has more than 26 years of experience working with or consulting to financial institutions. Mr. Teshirogi served as the Chief Executive Officer of CAST between 1986 until 2006. His primary areas of focus include Corporate Strategy and Marketing/Distribution Strategy. Prior to founding CAST, Mr. Teshirogi was a Senior Manager in KPMG Peat Marwick's Financial Institutions Consulting Practice, specializing in financial and operational consulting services. During his professional career, he was the Group Manager with Crocker National Bank in both the financial planning and financial systems areas of their commercial services and real estate industry divisions. Prior to that, Mr. Teshirogi was a Senior Consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co.
He received a Master of Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in finance, from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. |
